2- Gaviarte: You are from Curitiba. It was by the art you moved to Sao Paulo?

_ I`m Paranaense, born in Curitiba. I`m  Italian descent. My paternal grandparents are from Venice,  and maternal Naples. It wasn`t  through art that I came to São Paulo city, but I fixed residence and made  the School of Visual Arts, Theatre  and Music, which also gave me a career as a full degree of Professor in the Arts. Conducted classes in art (painting, sculpture, drawing, music and theater) in Private School for a year. I went in search of artistic achievement in the city of São Paulo.
Often found competition, but I never abandoned my goals and artistic talents.

 3- Gaviarte:  Beyond the visual arts, you was the model, participated in Tv novel and is a songwriter. Tell us about this phase of his artistic life.

_ A modeling career began in Curitiba, when I was  a young woman. At the time I worked in a large and famous company. They invited me at first to join a fashion parade, where I won a prize. After the parade the department of the company offered me featured in the  city newspapers disseminating brands of sunglasses and other accessories. I also made several television advertisements on TV Globo affiliate in Curitiba, in Grand Prix racing in Formula I. Later I made radio commercials in the capital city. It was at that time that I  posed as a model for one of the most famous advertising agencies, photographed by "Carlos Martins", a famous photographer socialite in Curitiba, until this day. Through the Executive Director of the company, linked to the Miss Paraná, I was invited to compete for Miss representing the state, but I did not accept the invitation for personal reasons.

I came to Sao Paulo in 1982. In college I matured my plans definitely choosing which would be the best career path, although other parallel activities also were part of this process.

The passion for the Visual Arts awarded me in the three first consecutive academic years 1988-1989 and 1990 and still do a collection of medals, honors, plaques and specials invitations.

I painted tirelessly performing solo exhibitions and also getting work in orders for pictures and distinguished personalities.
In 1995 I won the first feature story in the newspaper "O Estado de SP" about the solo  exhibitions of my work in the capital city. Thereafter, other medias and magazines, taken my work included in their articles beyond the "Estado de  SP" until the present day, with between one and another year  I won space of my work in important personal collections, and governments, in Brazil of governors and President residences,  the institutions, in institutional collections, large corporate personalities, leading figures. addition the Ministry of Culture and   abroad,

The ´Video Show´ (a brazilian  TV programm)  also released "Portrait of Derci" work of my own and  request from the friend Derci Gonçalvez. Television channels such as SBT and CNT made room for interviews, in Sao Paulo and Curitiba. I've always been very successful in this regard, the press has always recognized magnificent my work.

My main focus is the visual arts. I love the TV and the proposals remain, but I have a very interesting story with  the visual arts, hasnt come a right moment  that I can say: "Well,  I`m  here again, TV!"

In the theater the wonderful experience of representing,  opened  a rangec of thousand opportunities, including monologues. At the time we had the company of friend and actor, now famous for TV Globo, Marcos Winter, in the corridors of the College. It was all very exciting.

From 1994, opportunities have arisen within the television in Sao Paulo. I  Participated in the soap opera on Globo and SBT. That same year, in 1994, "We were Six" with a picture of his friend and Nei Latorraca Denise Fraga stage set in the city in Sao Paulo, written by Silvio de Abreu and Rubens Edwald Filho, directed by Nilton Travesso, Henrique Martins and Del Rangel. In 1995 I did a small performance in "The Wards of Rector, in the " Teatro Municipal", with a wonderful cast in the company of Deborah Block and other celebrities. I Also participated in the soap opera "The right to be born" a year later, in Sao Paulo, with Luiz Guilherme, Angelina Muniz and Esther Garcia in the direction of Roberto Talma. I represented the wife of the "Dom Rafael de Juncal" at the beginning of the soap opera, but for personal reasons I had to leave the paper.

"Bad Angel" was my last work in TV in 1997, not finished, with the Glória Pires e Kadu Moliterno, written by Maria Adelaide Amaral. I finally said goodbye to the work of TV soap operas. I felt a higher calling for the area of Visual Arts.
In music I had wonderful experiences with compositions, knowledge of sheet music, instruments and voice. I love music and have musical projects with speaks of man's relationship with God, and now the composition always arise when there is a moment alone with myself. I have more than 50 compositions of letters. I still want to record my own CD / DVD, if God permits.

I  Had various forms of recognition. One of them, the most important was the well-knowledge of President Clinton in 1996 through an official letter to the Official Mark of the White House and original signature of the President addressed to me. This for me was a grandeur, be a focus of attention of the most important man on the planet and have two of my works in his collection.

The message of the  North AmericanPresident sent me is the part of my paramount collection and it was at the same time I was a special guest to illustrate the main book cover and spread one of my works in media such as ESPN's International Week of the Turf Jockey Club de Sao Paulo.
In 1998 the Queen of Correspondence of Queen Elizabeth II posted a special mention of that realized portrait of His Majesty and was pleasantly received by it in their collection. The official message from Buckingham Palace was received that year.

 _ Have artwork of my own work in important collections is very rewarding and honorable and this contributes to other artists also achieving their dreams.

6- Gaviarte: Have you had any great difficulty to get there? And how did you overcame it?

_ The difficulty has always existed and always will be, but there is nothing you can do to stop our dreams when we have an ideal.  Always believed in me and especially in my God, the main responsible for my success. Overcame everything in God.

7- Gaviarte: How did the Século & Arte came about? And what is your goal?

_ “Século e Arte” ( "Century and Art")  appeared in the midst of all the great achievements. I remember that, from approximately 1999 to 2000, I was responsible for directing the first art group exhibition in the  room of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the State of Sao Paulo, published on the newspaper "O Estado de SP", magazines and bulletins of the Ministry in Sao Paulo and Brasilia. Our current Government Cultura Institution, now with a great deal, came into being after I called this group show with the name "Século  & Arte" .
At the invitation of the National Council for the Encouragement of Culture, some time later, it would become a Governmental Institution, because the importance of their achievements. I am honored to have founded it  and as a result have been observed by the most important media.

8- Gaviarte:  What works the ICSA has developed for the benefit of our culture?

_ Our Institution has won many steps, this is fact, and is synonymous with credibility. She stands out in Brazil and abroad, in countries of Europe and Asia.
Even without an economic structure and financial management, we succeed in everything we do.
We played the fundamental role of lead Brazilian art at the four corners of the world and as leader of the ICSA, principal responsible, working to benefit the man and his art, supporting, encouraging, promoting professional and realizing cultural exchanges,  friendship and cultural twists between countries around the world for a cultural building.
All works were important achievements in your own time. They are part of an important story, a process of growth, although  some with degree of importance  greahter than another.
Our present work, for example, is our participation in the XIV "Bienal Internacional do Livro" (International Book Biennial), one of the most important International Biennial of all time and we are still in the 1st edition. Soon we will be doing new events to celebrate the Year of France in Brazil and then again to Celebrate the International Year of Planet Earth linked to UNESCO from Brasilia and Paris, Finally, a whole career of great accomplishments for the benefit of Brazilian Culture and your roots, even as the past events.

9- Gaviarte:  You have received incentives from the government or other Cultural Organs?

_ We received support from various Institutional Organs, of the AAMAM - Associação dos Amigos do Museu de Arte Modern (Association of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art), the birthplace of MAM, of the Embratur - Empresa Brasileira do Turismo (Brazilian Tourism Company),  of the  Science and Technology Ministry, of the  of Culture of the State of Sao Paulo Municipal Secretary, of the Atrium of our greatest cultural support and Institutional support of the Federal Government in the utilization of the logo for disclosure of Brazil in the world. The example of UNESCO in Paris, ICSA as Cultural Institution Brazilian government, is the one representing the area of Brazilian culture in Brazil and the world in favor of Major GeoShow of the Earth, along with the Roberto Marinho Foundation and other importants Institutions.

 10- Gaviarte:  How do you reconcile his versatile artistic life with your personal life?

_ They are different things, but perfectly adjustable and friendly. My artistic side, of course, is no longer constant as before, only when I have freedom. My occupation managing the ICSA is the one that occupies a longer time, without limiting my schedule. My family life is a significant issue that I can manage well. All are understandable at home until my little girl  already know what being an artist, but there are days that I consider my time with the family more important than work. I think you should be right with God, with yourself and family to be well with the rest. There must be creativity.

11- Gaviarte:  Do You believe that one day the art in our country may  be compared with the art out there, especially with Europe?

_ The art in our country is taking new directions, in spite of Europe or Asia who also live in difficult days that art is not as well paid, but better appreciated.
Everything depends on us, if we want something to grow,  we have to doubleour  sleeves and work. I believe that we are moments when Art in Brazil will be viewed with great respect and with more value. We're working on it.
We still have many challenges about the arts in Brazil and the world.
We have a goal that is to change the Brazilian art scene, it was in  me, because I always craved concrete changes for a better world.

12- Gaviarte:  Please, leave a message of encouragement to the artists of this country.

_ To  the friend artists I would say this:  that the Father from above sees everything and everyone. Remaining the good, the simple and humble, and grow, multiply their gifts and to hone their talents. Never give up, because still it seems impossible, days will come to reality your dreams. This is a promise that will be fulfilled. We are very close to large and major achievements in our country. Brazil will be the country of the great art forms. Therefore, we do our best to make this a reality together and not only in closed groups, to also rejoice together.
